Yahoo工具栏增加RSS侦测功能

Yahoo! Toolbar for IE
今天一早我就看到了Yahoo! Search Blog的这则消息，说在新版的Yahoo! Toolbar for IE上也增加了RSS侦测功能，不过这个功能在我的电脑上却一直没有试验成功。一直到刚刚才发现问题所在，原来只是因为我没有开启My Yahoo!功能！

这个功能对IE的用户非常的实用，相当于给IE增加了一个类似Firefox Livebookmarks的组件，向My Yahoo!里增添RSS条目变得易如反掌。在目前大部分blog读者阅读量不大的情况下，这种Toolbar加My Yahoo!的组合比Bloglines更有优势。Yahoo还是很有点小聪明的，跟MSN直接和Online RSS Aggregator正面竞争比起来，创造一种更加容易理解的使用方式，显然更容易找到自己的市场位置。

RSS正在越来越成为大玩家的游戏，最近MSN、Yahoo!、Ask Jeeves都用力不小。

好像有个问题,编码是不同的.同一页面上显示不同的两种编码有点问题.不知你是怎么搞定的?

不清楚你指的是哪里的编码，不过我网页用的是UTF-8编码.

搜索引擎Clusty.com

Clusty.com 是 Vivisimo Inc. 刚 刚推出的一个非常有意思的搜索引擎。它能够把搜索的初始结果按照主题进行智能分类，帮助用户更快的找到需要的信息。比如搜索“china shanghai”，就会出现诸如Hotels，University，Commercial，Grand Prix等分类，而搜索“ipod mini”，则可以得到Reviews，Accessories，MAC，Retails等分类，智能程度还是相当高的。Clusty搜索结果的查看方式 也比较特别，不需要新开窗口，也不需要离开搜索页面，就可以预览每个搜索结果的内容，而这些预览是通过iframe框架来实现的。 Clusty可以搜索的内容非常丰富，除了网页，新闻，购物搜索外，还有ebay搜索以及blog搜索，甚至还有一个叫做Gossip的栏目专门搜索八卦新闻。Clusty也是一个 Meta Search Engine ，搜索结果都来自其他的搜索引擎。

Yahoo邮箱POP3设置方法

虽然使用Foxmail也可以收取Yahoo邮箱的信件，但是那毕竟是HTML转发速度和稳定性上都不及真正的POP3收取。我也是今天才知道，其实Yahoo的免费邮箱也是可以使用POP来收取信件的。 1. 在IE地址栏中直接输人 http://edit.my.yahoo.com/config/set_popfwd?.src=ym ，进人到YAHOO！“网上直投”的页面。 2. 在注册一项中选择“是”，然后选择你感兴趣的内容，其它的选项可以根据需要来选择，然后按"完成"按钮。 3. 选择“网上阅读邮件和POP功能”，其它选项可根据自己的需要选择，完成后按“提交”按钮。 4. 此时“网上直投”注册成功，系统会告诉你的“服务器设置”： 接收邮件(POP3)服务器： POP.MAIL.YAHOO.COM.CN 发送邮件(SMTP)服务器： SMTP.MAIL.YAHOO.COM.CN 注意： 虽然每个雅虎信箱用户的POP和SMTP的地址都是相同的，但是用户如果不按上面的方法进行“网上直投”注册，仍然无法用POP和SMTP方式收发邮件的！ 摘自： 互联生活每一天
