Google正式发布Picasa 2

Google Picasa 2
Google刚刚正式发布了图片管理软件Picasa 2。自从去年7月Google收购Picasa就越来越受人瞩目，以至于有人猜测Google将收购Flickr.com并和Picasa 2结合成为最强大的图片管理方案。到目前为止，这个猜测还没有任何变成现实的迹象，不过这次推出的新版Picasa功能还是非常的抢眼。

Picasa 2加入了和Gmail里面类似的Label和Star功能，使我们可以方便的按照标签或者星级来浏览照片，不再受目录的约束。发送邮件功能中除了支持Hello账户以及桌面邮件程序外，还直接集成了Gmail，你可以在Picasa 2里直接登陆Gmail并用它来发送照片。还有一项功能也潜力无穷，Picasa 2可以把一组图片(包括目录、Label、Star)输出为一个完整的网页输出到指定目录，而且还支持XML 格式。另外，Picasa 2也与时俱进创建了一个blog来发布最新的消息。

不过，这个版本的Picasa还是没有办法支持中文的目录和文件名，实在是令人遗憾。

Twhirl 0.8.2b：全面支持Seesmic视频

Twhirl 是我个人认为到目前为止最好的 Twitter 客户端。它刚刚释放出了一个0.8.2b测试版。这个版本和目前公开发行版本的最大不同是增加了完整的 Seesmic 功能。 在两个月前，Twhirl作为一个Twitter的客户端软件，被视频直播分享网站Seesmic所收购。所以它加入Seesmic功能是早晚的事情。 作为最热门的Twitter客户端软件，Twhirl在不断完善Twitter功能的同时，也增加并完善着对另一个热门的 信息流聚合 服务 FriendFeed的支持 ，现在又加入了Seesmic视频直播的功能。让它成为目前比较全面而又相对即时的信息交流平台。 Twhirl的功能日益强大，幸好目前我们可以自由选择所要载入的服务，还不会让人觉得它显得臃肿。希望Seesmic不要把Twhirl带入歧途就好。 Twhirl 0.8.2b下载地址： http://beta.twhirl.org/bali/twhirl-0.8.2b.air

Google Video播放用户视频

从今天开始， Google Video 将开始可以播放用户在 Upload Program 中上传的视频。首先被允许播放的是被用户标记为免费的视频，而那些被标注了价格的视频内容，将在以后和 Google Wallet 结合共同推出。Google Video将使用的在线播放器是基于一个开源播放器 VLC media player 开发的。而播放器的源代码也将在 Google Code 公开。 (Via InsideGoogle ) Google使用开源的媒体播放器，在Google Code上开放代码，必然会引来众多的第三方开发。会不会有一天，打上Google标签的播放器也抢了Windows Media Player的饭碗？ Update：播放器已经提供 下载 。
